Meet Robin
Retirement is serious. Understanding it doesn’t have to be miserable.
Robin LaCasse is a Retirement Income Engineer™ who helps people make sense of the decisions that come with one of life’s biggest transitions.
She has a knack for taking things that sound complicated—Medicare, Social Security, taxes, income, investments, healthcare, legacy—and helping people see how the pieces actually fit together.
- No jargon for the sake of sounding impressive.
- No talking over your head.
- And not pretending every retirement fits neatly into the same little box.
Robin believes people make better decisions when they understand why something matters, what their options are, and what else may be affected.
You may be carrying one question.
Robin helps you see what may be connected to it.
No pressure. No pitch. Just a conversation that begins where you are.
A Guide Who Helps You See the Whole Picture
Robin’s value isn’t simply knowing about Medicare, Social Security, retirement income, investments, insurance, or taxes.
It’s understanding how those decisions influence one another.
Most retirement professionals work within one specialty.
Robin works at the intersections.
She helps clients understand how income affects taxes.
How taxes can affect Medicare premiums.
How Social Security timing influences retirement income.
How healthcare decisions affect long-term cash flow.
How every decision either supports—or unintentionally works against—the retirement life someone is trying to build.
Because in retirement, the question usually isn’t “What should I do about this one thing?” It’s “What happens to everything else if I do?”
That’s why she refers to herself as a Retirement Income Engineer™.
Like an engineer, she studies how the entire system functions before recommending changes to any one part.

Where It All Began
Long before Robin entered the retirement profession, she learned one of the most important lessons of her life from her grandmother.
There is not just one way to understand something. There is a way that works for you.
Robin’s grandmother
Her grandmother never assumed people learned the same way.
She observed first. She listened. She explained things differently until understanding replaced frustration.
That lesson never left. Today, it shapes every client conversation Robin has.
Because retirement isn’t about giving everyone the same answer. It’s about helping each person understand their answer.
A Teacher at Heart
From Teaching Children to Translating Retirement
Before entering financial services, Robin spent more than a decade owning and operating two daycare centers.
As an educator, business owner, mother, and later grandmother, she learned something that still guides her work today:
What she learnedPeople don’t all understand information the same way.
Some people need to see it.
Some need to hear it.
Some need to ask questions.
Some need to understand how every piece fits together before they can make a confident decision.
That ability to teach—not simply explain—became one of Robin’s greatest professional strengths.
Today she uses that same approach to help clients understand retirement.
- Not with industry jargon.
- Not with pressure.
With clear conversations that make complicated decisions easier to understand.

You’ll never be pressured.
You’ll never be rushed.
You’ll always understand the reasoning behind the recommendations.
Building something bigger than a practice.
This is a growing body of work. Roles and credentials will be updated as they are formalized.
Education Beyond the Office
Education isn’t an extra service Robin offers. It’s the foundation of her practice.
Through Medicare workshops, retirement readiness classes, senior living presentations, and community education events, she helps people ask better questions before making important decisions.
Because informed decisions create better outcomes.
Life Beyond the Office
Family remains at the center of Robin’s life.
As a mother of four and grandmother, she treasures the everyday moments that become the stories everyone tells later.
She also enjoys gardening, furniture upcycling, jewelry making, volunteering, community events, spending time with animals—especially dogs, horses, and yes, Maverick the cat—and occasionally doing things that surprise people who think retirement professionals spend all of their free time staring at spreadsheets.
Those interests reflect many of the same qualities she brings to her work:
Patience Curiosity Creativity
And a genuine desire to help people feel more confident about what comes next.
